1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Sure Thing Media (STM) provides photography, videography, coaching and consultation services to assist clients in enhancing their content presentation and refining their overall content strategy. It is important to note that STM (and all its subsidiaries) are not social media management services and are not responsible for account management, engagement, or direct marketing.
2. BOOKING & SCHEDULING
2a. All bookings are made via our website and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
2b. Clients must confirm location, time, and date before booking. Any bookings outside of London incur a travel fee.
2c. Clients must confirm on the day of the shoot that everything is running as planned at least 4 hours before the scheduled time. Failure to confirm could result in automatic cancellation with 50% of remaining balance still due.
2d. Under the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, STM reserves the right to refuse bookings that do not meet the agreed criteria.
3. DEPOSITS & PAYMENT
3a. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure any booking. This covers the rate and travel expenses for our team. The remaining balance is due within 24 hours of the shoot date to ensure your project enters the editing queue. Editing will not commence until full payment has been received.
3b. Late Payment Penalty: If payment is not received within 48 hours, a £25 per day penalty applies under The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3c. Failure to pay within 7 days may result in legal action and debt recovery costs being passed onto the client.
3d. Additional Charges: Same-day bookings (within 24 hours) incur a £45 surcharge.
3e. Out-of-hours bookings (before 9 AM or after 10 PM) incur a £50 surcharge.
4. LOCATION
4a. The client is responsible for selecting a location suitable for filming or photography.
4b. If the venue has restrictions that prevent the shoot from taking place, a rescheduling fee will apply.
4c. Any permit or location fee must be covered entirely by the client before the shoot.
5. DELIVERY
5a. Final photography assets will be delivered within 5 days. Video edits will be delivered within 7-14 days depending on project scope.
5b. Expedited delivery (next-day turnaround) is available for an additional £200. and must be requested before the booking; post-booking requests are subject to availability.
6. REVISIONS
6a. Clients are entitled to one complimentary revision per video.Additional revisions are charged at £100 per revision, unless an error on STM’s part requires further corrections. A revision is defined as: Minor edits (e.g., colour correction, minor text changes, trimming).
Major changes (e.g., re-editing, restructuring) will be charged separately.
6b. Revisions are required within 5 days of delivery. Delays in providing revision feedback may extend the delivery deadline.
7. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
7a. Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
7b. Clients must provide at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.
7c. A rescheduling request (with at least 72 hours' notice) allows the session to be moved once within 14 days (subject to availability) without extra charges.
7d. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the shoot incur a £50 cancellation fee, which will be automatically deducted from the payment card on file.
7e. If the client fails to attend without notice, 50% of the remaining balance will still be charged.
8. TERMINATION
STM reserves the right to terminate an agreement immediately if the client: fails to provide required deliverables, engages in misconduct, breaches any agreed-upon terms. If the agreement is terminated before project completion, the client is liable for payment for services already rendered.
9. CONFIDENTIALITY
STM will keep all client information confidential and will not disclose sensitive or proprietary data to third parties.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & COPYRIGHT
10a. Under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, STM retains full copyright ownership of all media produced.
10b. Clients are granted a personal, non-commercial license to use media assets unless a commercial usage license is explicitly purchased.
10c. Clients may not sell, redistribute, or use assets commercially without prior consent.
10d. STM reserves the right to use media for promotional purposes, unless the client opts out in writing before booking.
10e. Raw footage is available for purchase at 50% of the entire project’s value.
11. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
11a. Clients must bring all necessary props, outfits, and materials required for the shoot.
11b. Clients are responsible for implementing coaching strategies discussed during consultations.
11c. Failure to follow STM guidelines places full responsibility on the client for unsatisfactory outcomes.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
12a. STM is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained during the session.
12b. Clients agree to indemnify and hold STM harmless from any claims related to the project.
12c. All assets are stored for 30 days post-delivery. After this period, retrieval incurs a fee.
12d. STM is not responsible for technical errors or platform malfunctions affecting social media uploads.
13. AMENDMENTS & UPDATES
STM reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified via email or website updates of any changes.
